UWM Reveals Two Exclusives at UWM LIVE! Event
UWM launches PA+ and UWM Portal
Pontiac, May 4, 2023 – United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM), the #1 overall mortgage lender in America, announced today two new exclusives that will help increase efficiency, speed and flexibility for mortgage brokers and their processors throughout the loan process, so they can focus on scaling their business. Mat Ishbia, president and CEO of UWM, made these announcements today at UWM LIVE!, the biggest mortgage broker event of the year.
PA+ is a service that offers an additional level of loan processing support when needed. When an LO or processor orders PA+, they’ll get a dedicated UWM Loan Coordinator who will work with them and their borrower to help receive, scrub, order and send docs. The purpose of the Loan Coordinator is to help ease some of the most time-consuming parts of the loan process, from import to closing.
Brokers can utilize this service on a loan-by-loan basis, meaning they can decide when they need increased operational capacity or when to handle processing directly in-house or with their third-party processor.
UWM also announced UWM Portal, a bi-directional API that lets independent mortgage brokers who work with UWM seamlessly link their Loan Origination System (LOS) platform to UWM’s EASE system, further helping to streamline the entire loan process. This will allow brokers to sync their data to their LOS and eliminate the need to manually reconcile information during the loan.
“PA+ and UWM Portal are providing a new level of support, client experience and seamless process for independent mortgage brokers,” said Ishbia. “Today, speed and efficiency are more important than ever, and we will continue to find solutions that will help brokers continue scaling their business for the future.”
UWM supports independent mortgage brokers with industry-leading training, technology and service.
